Pt : I am having pain ( see video )
Me: since when
Pt: its since may ,I suffered from (ADANGI ) i.e herpes zoster and after that the pain is there ,I took allopathic medicines for a month and then it get cured but this pain didn’t go and after that I went to government hospital and they tell me there are changes inside and it will go slowly but it has not reduced a lit bit also.
Me: ok so tell me what was the herpes like ?
Pt: it covered all my left side of the head and the vesicle’s covered my upper eyelid also .I had severe pain and the vesicles used to discharge a watery fluid .
now I get the pain it extends forward and backward ,there is great itching also and when I itch over the eyelids it pains a lot and I also get swelling in the eyes and the lid.
Me: when is the pain more or less ( patient was very poor in expressing her problems ,with much effort I could find these symptoms
Pt: It is mostly at night ,and I cannot tolerate the sun and it is impossible for me to go near the kiln ,the heat of fire ,increases the pain very much .the itching increases and after the itching there is swelling over the eyelid .
There is sensation as if my eyelid is constricted ,a pulling sensation is there .
Me: how do you sweat ?
Pt : yeah when it pains I get sweat over the affected area and when I wipe the sweat it again pains a lot .
